On the 12th day of Christmas...
Apparently January 6th is the traditional day to take Christmas decorations down. We removed the gilding from our house two days ago, and our house looks crap and magnolia again, like it's bloody April or something.
I love Christmas, and if only I could work out a way to have Christmas without getting lardy I'd be the happiest girl in the world.
I thought about doing a whole New Years Blog Resolutions thing where I pledge to work a teeny bit harder at posting regularly. Anyone who has bobbed by here more than once in the couple of months will have noticed that there has been very little going on, bar the odd tumble weed rolling across the screen. So you know what - I am going to try a little harder, in all aspects of my life, but I won't make a Resolution because I never, ever keep them. So balls to them, I say.
But I will shout out to this polish. I had this on my tips last Christmas, and it featured heavily this December too. Ruby Pumps is one of those polishes that almost everyone has got, and rightly so, because it's one of the most beautiful polishes ever. From the China Glaze Wizard of Ooh Ahz collection, re-released in 2009, and originally from... I don't know, medieval times or something.
A two-coater, fast dryer, doesn't chip easily, sparkly but not in that obvious way, and not so horrible to remove as most glitters. Schexxy.
And the good news is - give it a couple of weeks, and you can wear it for Valentine's day. Oh, what? Might as well start planning. Stop fighting Hallmark; they will win!
This is so pretty, love the way you took the photos x

DeleteWe normally take Christmas down on January 1, but had visitors, so everything came down today. I only wore Ruby Pumps for a day or two for Christmas, so it will be good to enjoy it for a little bit longer for Valentine's Day.
